Salesforce Product Manager

As the Salesforce Product Manager for Cox Automotive, I lead the Salesforce team in the rollout and consolidation of central business services into the Salesforce platform. Acting as the key liaison between business users, product owners, and technical resources, I support the implementation of solutions that impact multiple business areas. My role involves building and maintaining relationships with senior stakeholders across the international business—including Development, Sales, Operations, and Finance—to drive engagement, determine business needs, and prioritise competing demands on the Salesforce Roadmap. I provide leadership for two sub-teams: a Projects team delivering strategic initiatives and a Continuous Improvement team focused on enhancing and maintaining live solutions on the platform.

As the Salesforce Platform Manager for Places for People Group, I orchestrated the management and enhancement of Salesforce across various departments. This involved taking ownership of the Product Vision and Roadmap. I held overall responsibility for aligning strategic goals and achieving business objectives for Salesforce and the End-to-End Platform. As the Senior Responsible Owner (SRO) for the End-to-End Platform project, I managed project benefits, budgets, contracts, and relationships with delivery partners. I collaborated cross-functionally with diverse business stakeholders across the business, including commercial, compliance, legal, finance, and customer support, as well as product and engineering teams to execute a complex Sales Cloud re-architecture project, resulting in significant operational efficiencies and setting the stage for advanced enhancements and automations. Through delivery, I gained a deeper understanding of Sales and Service Cloud, whilst working with a highly integrated org including other products such as CTI systems, Pardot, Asperato, Onfido, DocuSign, and Marketing Cloud. As the in-house Analyst for Salesforce Customer Service for EMEA, I managed Salesforce Service Cloud, including Service Console, Omni Channel, and Knowledge functionalities. Responsibilities comprised stakeholder management, business process analysis, requirements gathering, solution design, and prototyping. I employed agile methodologies for bi-weekly sprints, delivering solutions and enhancements. I also handled BAU activities, investigating and prioritizing customer service-reported issues, escalating critical matters, and conducting data quality analysis. I left due to company-wide restructuring, resulting in my redundancy as part of a team footprint reduction in EMEA.

As a Functional and Technical Business Analyst within a 2 BA’s, I played a key role in a Service Cloud Implementation project for a global healthcare provider. I collaborated directly with key business stakeholders to understand business processes and functional requirements. Working with off-shore development teams, I monitored development activities and addressed queries related to requirements and solution designs. I conducted regular business playback/demo sessions as well as Alpha and Beta sessions. To ensure solutions aligned with client expectations, I collabotated closely and extensively with Salesforce Technical Architects, integration experts and 3rd party vendors.

Led the development and delivery of a comprehensive Salesforce enhancement roadmap, aligning with stakeholder requirements throughout the organization. Documented user requirements and solution specifications. Strengthened data security by updating the organization’s security model, reorganizing profiles, permission sets, and role hierarchies in Salesforce Sales Cloud. Customised the platform whilst mitigating risks via contingency planning before deployment. Provided second-line support for tickets related to user management, data management, backups, and security.

My fascination with technology and its capacity for optimization led me to explore ways it could automate and expedite the development capacity estimation process during my tenure at the GLA. It was during this exploration that I discovered Salesforce. Motivated by a desire to understand and leverage its potential, I applied this newfound knowledge to create a Development Capacity App on Salesforce. The experience of building this application was so fulfilling that I made a career shift, transitioning into the realm of Salesforce.

Senior Strategic Planner

My role involved preparing public realm strategies, urban design principles, and master plans to offer strategic urban design guidance for major regeneration sites across Greater London. I conducted development capacity forecasting, GIS data analysis and mapping, and setting out urban design strategies and associated illustrations. I collaborated with public sector partner agencies, developers and their design teams, as well as the wider public to ensure planning strategies aligned with high urban design standards and complied with the London Plan and local policies.

For Vauxhall Nine Elms Battersea Opportunity Area Planning Framework, I estimated the potential for 16,000 new homes and 20,000 – 25,000 new jobs in this area. This involved creating an area-wide public realm urban design strategy, including a tall buildings cluster, a new linear park, and improved connections.

Among other projects, I also served as an urban designed for London Riverside, Croydon, Euston and New Southgate Opportunity Area Planning Frameworks.

Regeneration Consultant

I performed a range of roles, encompassing regeneration project appraisals, performance management, risk assessments, research and analysis, publications, event organization, and bidding for new projects. My primary roles involved acting as an inward investment property consultant for ‘Invest in Hackney,’ leading research and technical efforts to enhance a demographic forecasting model for the Woodberry Down development, and supporting the director of the EC1 NDC program with performance and finance management.

This was a part-time role whilst I was studying for my Master’s Degree in Urban Design at the University of Greenwich.

Responsible for architectural design concepts, detailed designs, and working drawings for institutional campuses and buildings across India. Conducted site supervision and project implementation through regular visits. Project – National Insurance Academy, Phase II, Pune, India Expanded the 32-acre academy with academic blocks, student hostels, dining hall, staff residences, conference center, computer center, gymnasium, swimming pool, and utility buildings, maintaining the architectural continuity with Phase I.

Project – Indian Institute of Technology, Phase II, Kanpur, India Contributed to the energy-efficient design of the Biosciences building in the 1000-acre IIT Kanpur campus, emphasizing features like cavity wall construction, integrated roofing insulation, heat-resistant glazing, earth-air tunnel system, and integrated photovoltaic cells as part of the Phase II expansion.
